Romans 9:33 reminds us that whoever believes in Jesus will not be put to shame. It invites us to examine what we truly depend on: our job, money, other people, or Jesus Christ.
Everything on earth is temporary and can disappear, but Jesus remains forever.

In Acts 16:16-40, Paul and Silas, imprisoned and humiliated, chose to pray and praise God in the middle of the night (v.25) instead of complaining or trying to justify themselves. Despite their difficult situation, their praises triggered a supernatural miracle: an earthquake opened the doors of the prison. The jailer and his entire family converted to Jesus, were baptized, and joy filled their house.
